Neal Stephenson is getting the TV treatment, I hope he’s more lucky than William Gibson. The Diamond Age is a fantastic novel and doesn’t deserve to be defaced on screen.
A neat side-effect of globalisation: stricter rules in Europe make global mobile phone manufacturing greener.
Would a Robin Hood Restaurant work here? I doubt it. Just getting round the legal implications would be near-impossible.
