Linux and Main: Panama begins blocking IP ports

The government of Panama has decreed that several UDP ports must be blocked on routers to stop the use of voice over IP. Internet telephony is obviously much more popular there than international call rates.

It also seems internet standards say that routers are not supposed to inspect anything outside the IP header in making their routing decisions, so they’re obviously being violated there.
