Check out this extremely simple and ingenious solution to help in your fight against spam: the mailinator. When you need to sign up somewhere where an email address is required for confirmation, simply enter something@mailinator.com, then go to the mailinator site, enter your username (whatever you entered before the @, in my example: something ), and read the mail they sent you.
