An interesting pilot project I hadn’t heard about: real time traffic flow in Antwerp will be measured by “anonymously” sampling the positions of mobile phones in moving vehicles. Antwerp, of course, being the ideal place for an experiment of that type considering the current roadworks-induced chaos there.
