help me get rid of the last few bugs

The new design for this site is finally live. There are still a few bugs that I can’t find a way around, so if anyone can help, please let me know.

On IE5 for Windows, some gifs will be invisible if they are located next to the window’s edge when the page is being rendered. In Mozilla/Netscape 6, a link located inside a DIV with semi-opacity activated, will also be invisible. And, finally, on IE5 for Macintosh, the browser seems to randomly forget to read parts of the style sheet, a reload/refresh fixes that one.
